LavinMQ Release 2.4 – Laying the groundwork for multithreading

CloudAMQP is excited to announce that you’re now able to run the latest version of LavinMQ (released June 11) on your hosted CloudAMQP instance.

LavinMQ 2.4.0 is a major internal milestone that sets the stage for future multithreading support. As a first step, etcd lease keepalives now run in a separate thread—boosting stability in multi-node clusters.

This release also includes several new features and improvements:

  • Stream filtering on various headers
  • Active arguments visible on queues and exchanges
  • Instant purging of queues without unacked messages
  • Bug fixes and overall stability improvements
